- A glucose sensor is part of a continuous glucose monitoring system. The sensor converts a tiny amount of glucose from the interstitial fluid under the skin into electronic signals. The system then uses these signals to provide a reading of the glucose level detected by the sensor.
- The sensor is intended to be used with the Guardian Link 4 transmitter and One-press set – Guardian™ Link 4 Transmitter Kit – for continuous glucose monitoring in people with diabetes.
- The sensor should be stored between 2°C and 27°C.
- The sensor can be used once and has a lifespan of up to 7 days.
