Suitable for moderate to severely exuding wounds:

• bedsores,
• venous leg ulcers
• fistulas and cavernous wounds
• bleeding wounds

Algisite M
consists of a highly absorbent non-woven alginate fibre cushion. During the wound exudate absorption process, sodium ions in the exudate are replaced by calcium ions in alginate. This allows the alginate fibres to absorb the exudate, turning it into a gel.
