Allevyn Life Sacrum – self-adhesive silicone gel hydrocellular foam bandage with a hyperabsorbent and masking layer for the sacral area. Allevyn Life Bandage consists of an advanced 5-layer structure:
- Non-sticky silicone gel hydrocellular wound contact layer – does not stick to the wound and ensures atraumatic removal;
- Hydrocellular foam layer – drains liquid into a hyperabsorbent layer;
- The closing layer of hyperabsorbent – excellently absorbs exudate and odor, especially under compression therapy ( in vitro ), preventing exudate leakage during wearing;
- The masking layer – hides the exudate aesthetically, reduces the visual impact between dressing changes, and also acts as a dressing change indicator, which optimizes the frequency of dressing changes, reducing the wastage of dressings;
- A unique four-lobed outer waterproof film layer with a wider self-adhesive part, which is breathable and can be applied to different parts of the body.
