Caya® Gels

Caya® Gel is a contraceptive gel for use with the diaphragm. Using the diaphragm without contraceptive gel is less safe.

Lactic acid-based gel is as safe as products containing Nonoxynol-9. The increased acidity and viscosity of the gel inhibit sperm motility. Before inserting the diaphragm into the vagina, smear about 4 ml of Caya® gel into the vagina and on the outer edge of the Caya® diaphragm. The gel lasts for about 15 applications.
