CERAFORM® synthetic bone substitute
Teknimed’s product CERAFORM® is designed to fill bone defects caused by bone trauma (e.g. tumour, trauma, disease) or surgical procedures (e.g. arthrodesis, osteotomy):
- The pellets are intended for use in procedures involving tumours or benign bone cysts (shoulder, hip, knee, foot), fractures (shoulder, knee), osteotomies (knee) and spinal fusions;
- The sticks are designed for use in case of fractures (knee, shoulder),
- Wedges are designed for use in case of fractures (knee, shoulder).
CERAFORM® synthetic bone substitute is a biocompatible and safe synthetic biphasic ceramic made of hydroxyapatite (HA) and beta tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP). Hydroxyapatite Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 is a calcium phosphate similar to the mineral phosphase of bone tissue. Tricalcium phosphate Ca3(PO4)2, more soluble than HA, improves the resorption kinetics of CERAFORM®.

MiniMed™ 780G insulin pump system with SmartGuard™ technology
- The MiniMed™ 780G system is designed for continuous administration of basal insulin at the selected rate and bolus doses of insulin at the selected volume.
- Continuous glucose monitoring and the SmartGuard™ feature ensure that glucose levels are within the range of 3.9 to 10.0 mmol/l.
- Every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the system automatically adjusts the basal dose according to the target glucose level (5.5mmol/l, 6.1mmol/l or 6.7mmol/l).
- If necessary, the system administers an automatic correction bolus dose.
- During exercise, the system automatically adjusts the basal dose according to the intensity of the exercise and the glucose target of 8.3mmol/l.
- When using SmartGuard™, on average 80% of the time, glucose levels are within the target range.
The MiniMed™ 780G Insulin Pump System is intended for use in patients aged 7 to 80 years who have 1. type 2 diabetes and have a total daily insulin dose of 8 units or more.
Components of the MiniMed™ 780G Insulin Pump System:

MiniMed™ Reservoir
A reservoir is a single-use medical device designed to administer insulin into the subcutaneous tissue. The reservoir is filled with short-acting insulin analogue or short-acting insulin, connected to an infusion system and inserted into an insulin pump.
The reservoir consists of three components: the safety transition, the reservoir and the piston.
- 3.0ml reservoir – compatible with Paradigm 7xx series and MiniMed 640G insulin pumps.
- 1.8ml reservoir – compatible with Paradigm 5xx series, Paradigm 7xx series and MiniMed 640G insulin pumps.
MiniMed™ Quick-Set™ Infusion System
An infusion system is a single-use medical device connected to a reservoir and designed to administer short-acting insulin analogue or short-acting insulin subcutaneously at a 90˚ angle.
- Length of the flexible catheter 6mm or 9mm.
- Infusion system compatible with the Quick-Serter® administration device. It can also be entered manually.
- The infusion system should be changed every 48-72 hours as recommended by your doctor.
- Compatible with Paradigm 5xx series, Paradigm 7xx series and MiniMed 640G insulin pumps.
MiniMed™ Silhouette™ Infusion System
An infusion system is a single-use medical device connected to a reservoir and designed to administer a short-acting insulin analogue or short-acting insulin subcutaneously at an angle of 20-40˚.
